Change Manager – Cyber Security Programme (50%, May–Dec 2026) emagine is looking for an experienced Change Manager to take ownership of Change, Communications and Training within a Cyber Security programme on behalf of our client. About the assignment You will be responsible for driving the change, communications and training workstream across the programme, ensuring that operational teams are ready to adopt new capabilities and that services are successfully embedded into day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities: • Perform Change Impact Assessments • Manage communications across all operational teams (L2, L3, L4) • Execute the training plan and develop training materials • Ensure playbooks are created, fit for purpose, and embedded into operations • Perform readiness assessments Project context We are running a Cyber Security programme designed to enhance the organisation's threat detection and response capabilities by evolving from a single-telemetry Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) model to a Cross-Telemetry / Extended Detection and Response (XDR) capability. Historically, the organisation operated an EDR capability. The programme is structured into phased deliveries to enable controlled transition, operational stability, and progressive capability maturity: • Phase 1 – Endpoint Detection Transition (Completed) • Phase 2 – Cross-Telemetry / XDR Enablement (In Progress)• Integration of additional security telemetry • Enable correlated threat detection across multiple data sources • Phase 3 – Enterprise Integration (Planned) • Onboarding of Local IT telemetry sources into the XDR ecosystem • Integration of critical business applications into threat detection workflows Key capabilities and experience Stakeholder Management & Influence • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes across business and technical teams • Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience resolving conflicts, navigating competing priorities, and maintaining engagement throughout challenging change initiatives • Confident communicator, able to build credibility and trust at all levels of the organisation Impact Analysis & Change Design • Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience conducting impact assessments to evaluate organisational, process, and technology change impacts • Proven ability to define and document clear transition paths from AS-IS to TO-BE states • Experience identifying operational, capability, and process gaps that must be addressed prior to service transition into live operations Training, Adoption & Transition to Run • Extensive experience supporting stakeholder readiness through structured training and adoption initiatives • Focused on sustainable change outcomes, ensuring services are fully embedded and effectively adopted once handed over to operations • Goes beyond standard project handover activities, placing emphasis on operational confidence, behavioural change, and long-term service maturity Operational Playbooks & Enablement Materials • Proven experience designing and producing operational playbooks to support live service delivery • Ability to create clear, concise, and appropriately detailed documentation that balances technical accuracy with usability • Ensures playbooks are actively used by operational teams, embedded into day-to-day processes, and not treated as static reference documents Practical information • Duration: May 2026 to December 2026 • Scope: 50% Please provide CV + motivation
