EV (Electric Vehicle) Backend Product Lead

Our work supports multiple applications used for in‑car multimedia services, EV charging platforms, factory digitalization, data‑driven projects and online sales technologies. 
By ensuring continuous service availability and integrating key tools, we enable teams across Europe to develop and operate digital solutions reliably. 

  

Role Summary:  
The EV Backend Product Lead coordinates the Customer Support function and serves as the Operational Coordinator for day‑to‑day development activities. The role blends tactical execution with strategic planning, ensuring smooth collaboration across Customer Support, Development teams and business stakeholders in multiple locations

Key Responsibilities:  • Act as primary contact between Customer Support, Development, Operations, and business stakeholders. 
• Understand business requirements for the following areas: 
• Energy business products (Private charge, V1G, other energy products). 
• TME overall Energy Business strategy. 
• Map these requirements to current and future Energy business products withing EV Backend: 
• Maintain and improve the current Toyota Home Charge solution.  
• Manage the requirements from a TME point of view towards suppliers (Customer Support, New products development). 
• Understand overall architecture of solutions and links/dependencies with other systems in TME landscape. 
• Continuously monitor stakeholder needs (incl. NMSCs & retailers where’s needed) and make proposal for improvements towards TME management. 
• Analyse data and share concrete action plans in regular reports of the most important findings to higher management. 
• Follow up on rollout of new functionalities. 
• Improve overall quality and performance. 

Qualifications & Skills: 
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and accurate; strong critical thinking. 
• Clear written and verbal communication; effective meeting facilitation. 
• Team player able to work in high performance environment. 
• Comfortable discussing APIs, databases, logging, and monitoring to coordinate effectively with engineering teams. 
• Proficiency with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and Office 365 (Teams, Outlook); familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts. 
• Positive thinks: 
• Process modelling, workflow analysis; ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
• Basic data analysis and visualization. 
• Fluent in English (TME business language). 
• Eager to learn and works with new technologies.
