Freelance Senior Project Manager – E-commerce Implementation (APAC)

emagine are looking for a Senior Project Manager for one of our clients in the APAC region (Indonesia). You will lead the implementation of a new e-commerce platform across the APAC region. This role requires a strong delivery-focused profile with proven experience managing complex digital projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders across regions. Main Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new e-commerce platform in the APAC region • Define and manage project scope, timeline, and deliverables • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, IT, and external vendors • Drive stakeholder engagement across multiple markets and ensure alignment • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies • Ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards • Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums • Support change management and adoption across the region Key Requirements • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering e-commerce implementations • Strong track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects • Experience working with distributed teams across the APAC region • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to operate independently in a fully remote setup Nice to Have • Experience working in cost-efficient delivery setups (e.g., Southeast Asia) • Familiarity with modern e-commerce platforms and digital ecosystems • Experience from international organizations or regional rollouts Location: Remote from APAC region (Indonesia, Thailand) - the client is located in DKStart Date: April 1, 2026Duration: 31.12.26 + possible extensionWorkload: Full-time
