Head of IT Operations

Nasze wymagania: Proven leadership and people management experience within IT Infrastructure or IT Operations Deep end to end understanding of how infrastructure is built, operated, and secured Strong experience with cloud environments A pragmatic, business oriented mindset with strong execution focus Solid technical university education with strong engineering fundamentals Strong operational excellence mindset High sense of ownership and accountability Strong business understanding and stakeholder management skills Travel flexibility required: 10–20 days per year, primarily to Denmark This position is an on-site Warsaw position O projekcie: At FOSS, we are modernizing our IT landscape. You will own the backbone of IT, ensuring stable, secure, and scalable operations for today and the future. We are looking for a Head of IT Operations with a strong infrastructure DNA to take overall responsibility for IT Operations, covering Infrastructure and IT Support. This is a senior leadership role where you will ensure that our infrastructure platforms are stable, secure, standardized, and ready to support the business – today and in the future. At the same time, you will oversee IT Support to ensure consistent, professional service delivery and a strong end user experience. Zakres obowiązków: Infrastructure: • Own and lead the entire infrastructure landscape end to end, ensuring secure and reliable operations • Take accountability for: o Networks and connectivity o OT/IoT manufacturing networks o Digital Workplace solution based on M365 o Servers, Virtualization, Storage, and Backup incl. DR/BCP planning o Hybrid and Azure cloud environments o Capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management • Drive infrastructure standardization and automation, including hardware and platform design • Establish strong monitoring, logging, and alerting across the infrastructure stack • Ensure infrastructure supports modernization initiatives without destabilizing operations • Embed a strong security, risk, and compliance mindset, based on Zero Trust principles, based on IAM, SSO, MFA, Privileged access management and conditional access. IT Support: • Lead and oversee IT Support and end user services, ensuring stable day to day operations (Global follow the sun setup) • Align IT Support processes closely with infrastructure stability and standard platforms • Software license management Leadership & stakeholder engagement • Lead, develop, and inspire IT Operations teams across Infrastructure and IT Support of up to 15 direct and indirect reports (2 managers, 3 direct) • Create clarity of roles, ownership, and operational accountability • Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, translating needs into robust and reliable operational solutions Oferujemy: FOSS is a Danish company which means that we have a Scandinavian style of work based on trust and teamwork Additional benefits such as multisport, private health care, private insurance Integration events Flexible working time Professional training & courses
