Summary: The Head of Strategy is a critical executive role responsible for defining the long-term direction of the organization and ensuring its competitive positioning within the global market. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, assessing market trends, and aligning internal capabilities to meet the evolving demands of the scientific and healthcare landscape. You will work closely with the CEO and Board to translate vision into actionable strategic plans. Key Requirements: • Extensive experience within the Life Science industry, with a deep understanding of market access, the pharmaceutical value chain, and the impact of regulatory shifts on business strategy. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or corporate development, preferably within a global biotech or pharma context. • Proven ability to analyze complex scientific and financial data to drive investment decisions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or strategic partnerships. • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing high-level decisions in a matrixed organization. • Mastery of the English language, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling strategic narratives for global stakeholders. Main Responsibilities: • Lead the annual and multi-year strategic planning process, ensuring alignment across R&D, Clinical, and Commercial business units. • Monitor the Life Science competitive landscape and emerging technologies to identify potential disruptions or opportunities for market expansion. • Oversee corporate development initiatives, including the evaluation of strategic alliances, licensing opportunities, and potential acquisitions. • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategic milestones to track the organization’s progress against its long-term goals. • Facilitate high-level workshops and strategy sessions with executive leadership to foster innovation and cross-functional synergy.
