Nasze wymagania: Must-have experience • Proven track record leading engineering organisations of 50+ people • Strong hands-on engineering background - you can challenge technical decisions, review architecture, and speak credibly to your teams • Experience managing and developing engineering managers (not just individual contributors) • Delivered meaningful technology transformation - cloud migration, platform modernisation, or re-architecture of legacy systems • Comfortable operating in a complex, multi-technology environment (polyglot stacks, mixed deployment models) Leadership approach • Servant leader at heart - you believe your job is to remove obstacles and enable your teams to do their best work • Decisive when it matters, consultative when it adds value - you don't confuse the two • High emotional intelligence and communication maturity - you will be operating between technical teams and a CEO • You build management capability around you, not dependency on yourself • You hold people accountable with respect, clarity, and consistency Mile widziane: • Familiarity with the gaming / casino domain - compliance considerations, hardware integration, high-availability requirements • Experience with AWS and cloud migration programmes • Background in product-led organisations or close collaboration with Product Owners O projekcie: As Head of Technology, you will be the senior-most engineering leader in the organisation, responsible for the health, direction, and performance of our entire technology department. You will report directly to the CEO and act as the primary bridge between business ambitions and engineering execution. This is not a purely hands-off role. While you will not be expected to write production code day-to-day, you will need to earn and maintain deep technical credibility - capable of challenging architectural decisions, reviewing technical trade-offs, and holding teams to high engineering standards. Critically, you are joining at a moment of transformation. You will be shaping the management layer beneath you, introducing engineering discipline, and helping us chart the path from a predominantly on-premise, monolith-adjacent system toward a modern, cloud-capable product. Zakres obowiązków: Build and lead the engineering organisation • Own the structure, performance, and culture of the ~80-person technology department • Create and develop a strong management layer - identify, grow, and hire engineering managers beneath you • Establish clear accountability, engineering standards, and delivery discipline across all teams • Work closely with team leads who currently operate without a senior management layer above them Stabilise and scale engineering delivery • Establish predictable, reliable delivery cadences across product and component teams • Introduce or refine engineering processes: planning, estimation, incident management, technical debt governance • Work with QA and DevOps (both functioning as separate, mature groups) to strengthen cross-functional delivery flows • Identify systemic bottlenecks - particularly in the shared frontend group and cross-team dependencies - and resolve them Align technology with product vision • Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the technical roadmap supports and enables the product strategy • Translate business growth ambitions into scalable technology decisions - particularly around multi-customer cloud deployments • Contribute to technology positioning as a competitive differentiator in the casino management space Represent technology at the leadership level • Be the voice of engineering in leadership discussions - balancing speed, quality, and technical sustainability • Report directly to the CEO; own the technology narrative for the business • Engage selectively with key customers or partners where technology credibility is required Oferujemy: Close collaboration with Product Owners and product teams to ensure technology supports the business strategy A work culture based on trust, transparency, shared responsibility, and team support Opportunity for long-term cooperation based on an employment contract Hybrid work model Access to private healthcare packages (PZU) Company-provided laptop
