Mid-Senior Product Manager – Dockyard Who We Are We are a software as a service (SaaS) company, bringing true digital transformation to the global shipping industry. We enhance the way shipping professionals work by creating technology for the maritime industry and bringing it to market. With over 85% of the world’s trade transported by sea, we have a huge opportunity to transform existing manual, offline and disparate processes into a tech-enabled and data-rich experience enabling better decision-making and fewer costly and time-consuming mistakes. Our premier platform, Sea, is the world’s first digital shipping platform that provides cloud-based applications focused on the pre-fixture and at-fixture space. These connect to create efficiencies and digitise workflows. To understand more about us, please visit https://www.sea.live/ About the Role We’re hiring a Mid-Senior Product Manager to lead Dockyard - a business-critical platform team responsible for how customers are onboarded, managed, communicated with, and governed across our products. Dockyard sits at the centre of several foundational platform capabilities including onboarding, user and company management, legal entities, permissions, notifications, compliance, and navigation consistency. Today, many of these processes are operationally heavy and handled manually by App Support. A core responsibility of this role is to reduce operational complexity, improve onboarding, and systematically decrease reliance on manual support processes through product improvements, standardisation, and scalable platform capabilities. This is a high-impact role with real ownership. You’ll work closely with leadership to shape strategy and prioritisation, while also being accountable for delivering practical improvements in a complex, evolving platform environment. What You’ll Do • Own and evolve core platform capabilities including:• User, Company, and Legal Entity management • Roles, groups, and module configuration • Customer onboarding workflows • Notifications and communication templates (Email, WhatsApp) • GDPR, consent, and cookie management • Audit logging and governance capabilities • Terms & Conditions management • Navigation consistency and user experience foundations • Define and drive the Dockyard product strategy and roadmap • Partner across Product, Engineering, Commercial, and App Support to align priorities and influence decisions • Improve and standardise onboarding processes to reduce friction, onboarding time, and manual operational effort • Identify repetitive support activities and convert them into scalable product solutions • Reduce dependency on App Support by improving automation, consistency, and self-service capabilities where appropriate • Balance user experience, operational realities, business priorities, and compliance requirements in day-to-day product decisions • Work within an evolving legacy environment, improving existing systems while helping shape longer-term platform direction What We’re Looking For Must-have:   • Experience as a Product Manager in SaaS, platform, operational, or internal tooling environments • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions • Strong track record of improving operational workflows and reducing manual processes through product changes • Experience working in complex or legacy environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and execution • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills Nice-to-have:   • Previous experience working in central, platform, or core teams supporting internal users • Experience with onboarding, user management, permissions, or governance-related systems • Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements (e.g. GDPR, audit logging) • Exposure to Product-Led Growth environments What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months)   • Customer onboarding becomes faster, more consistent, and less dependent on manual support intervention • App Support workload is reduced through product improvements, standardisation, and better tooling • Core platform processes around user management, permissions, and governance are simplified and more scalable • Clear platform direction and prioritisation are established for Dockyard • The business is better positioned to scale customer growth without proportional operational overhead   Why This Role Matters Dockyard enables scalable onboarding, reduces operational burden, and lays the foundations for future capabilities such as billing, licensing, entitlements, and broader Product-Led Growth initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to own a foundational platform, influence leadership decisions, and deliver measurable operational impact across the business. What you can expect  Despite our growth, we managed to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere of a tightly knit team that can implement complex projects comprehensively and effectively. Each of us knows what is expected from us and has adequate space and freedom of action. The actual work is important, but it’s also essential for us at Sea that we all stay happy, relaxed and motivated. That’s why we provide a wide range of benefits to all our employees: • Training budget • Private medical care (Luxmed) • Voluntary group life insurance • MyBenefit or Multisport card • Language courses (English and German) • Employee referral program • Paid days off from services (B2B) • A paid day off to care for your health - “Dzień na U” • Integration events, joint company trips, birthday celebrations and many other  What we offer • Salary: competitive - B2B or UoP • Company PC & AI tools (We work with GitHub Copilot solutions) • Flexible working hours (we work in typical Polish office hours, no late meeting)
