Principal Consultant – Alternative Investments & Derivatives

Summary The Principal Consultant – Alternative Investments & Derivatives is a senior expert role focused on providing advisory services in the field of Alternative Investments, specifically concentrating on derivatives and their behavior. This position is crucial for supporting investment decision-making and aligning business operations with investment strategies. Main Responsibilities: • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Alternative Asset Classes and Instruments Behavior. • Provide deep insights into investment instruments, their lifecycle, and market behavior. • Advise stakeholders on derivatives structures, valuation, and risk exposure. • Support and guide Alternative Investment Managers on best practices and operating models. • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between investment strategy and execution. • Participate in high-level discussions with senior stakeholders and provide strategic input. • Ensure strong understanding and alignment across front-to-back investment processes. Key Requirements: • Strong experience in Alternative Investments domain (mandatory). • Deep understanding of Asset Classes & Instruments Behavior (mandatory). • Proven expertise in Derivatives (mandatory). • Strong knowledge of Alternative Investment Managers and their operating models (mandatory). • Ability to operate at Principal / senior expert level (not mid-level consultant). • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capability. Nice to Have: • Experience with diverse investment platforms and strategies. • Familiarity with regulatory environments impacting alternative investments. • Advanced degrees in finance, economics, or related fields. Other Details The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a 100% onsite work setup. The start date is ASAP, and the contract type is full-time/permanent.
