We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive a large-scale legacy system transformation programme focused on replacing a core policy administration platform. This is a critical leadership role requiring strong expertise in delivering complex transformation initiatives, ensuring business continuity, and aligning programme outcomes with enterprise strategy. You will lead the programme end-to-end, from discovery through to implementation and stabilisation, while managing senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead the delivery of a large-scale legacy system transformation programme. • Oversee the replacement of a core platform while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Maintain operational stability and continuity throughout all phases of the transformation. • Provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight across the full programme lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery. • Build, lead, and motivate high-performing, cross-functional teams. • Drive programme planning, execution, and delivery in line with timelines and budget expectations. • Ensure effective governance, reporting, and risk management across multiple stakeholder forums. Key Skills & Experience • Proven experience leading large-scale legacy transformation programmes. • Demonstrated end-to-end delivery experience (from discovery through to production and stabilisation). • Strong understanding of enterprise strategy alignment and operating models. • Experience delivering complex agile programmes at scale. • Ability to bridge business and technology stakeholders effectively. • Strong governance and programme leadership across senior stakeholders. • Credibility and influence with executive sponsors. • Track record of building and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams. • Experience within Insurance is ideal or within financial services.
