Senior Release Manager (ITSM / Deployment) Location: Gdańsk / Gdynia / Warszawa (Hybrid, 2–3 days in office) Start: ASAP Workplace: Hybrid (office + remote) Language: English (C1) Contract type: B2B Rate: 125-145 PLN per hourAbout the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Release Manager responsible for planning and coordinating application and IT system deployments in a complex environment. This role covers end-to-end release management, working closely with technical and business teams to ensure safe and efficient change implementations according to organizational standards. Responsibilities: • Plan and coordinate releases and deployments • Manage application deployment roadmap • Coordinate multiple concurrent releases • Prepare and lead go-live and post-go-live activities • Manage change management processes in deployments • Organize and chair release decision meetings • Collaborate with development, testing, operations, and business teams • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes • Support system handover to operations teams • Improve release management processes and adopt DevOps best practices Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience in release, deployment, or project management • Experience managing IT system deployments • Experience in banking or financial environments is highly valued • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management) • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence • Experience with CI/CD and deployment processes • Basic understanding of DevOps • Ability to manage multiple tasks and dependencies simultaneously • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Fluent English (C1) Preferred: • Experience in enterprise environments • Experience in transformational projects • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as BMC Helix What We Offer: • Work on large-scale deployment projects • Collaboration with technical and business teams • Real impact on IT process quality and efficiency • Opportunities to grow in release management and DevOps areas
