Release Manager

Summary: The Release Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient planning, execution, and quality of technology platform releases, with a strong focus on compliance and stakeholder coordination. What we offer: Contract Length: 12 months contractType of contract: B2B Contract Salary grids: 150- 170 zł/h Work Model: Hybrid (2 days office- 3days remote) Main Responsibilities: • Ensure new releases technology platforms are efficiently planned and executed with high quality. • Collaborate with stakeholders such as release managers, test managers, product owners, scrum masters, and operations teams. • Coordinate and maintain the release roadmap for one or more applications. • Plan and coordinate multiple parallel releases and their deployment. • Organize release go-live and post-go-live activities. • Track change activities throughout the release process. • Lead release decision meetings to secure approvals for release milestones. • Plan handover sessions from development teams to operations teams. • Integrate new techniques and DevOps practices to improve release quality and efficiency. Key Requirements: • 5+ years of IT project management experience. • Prior experience in release or deployment management, preferably in the banking sector. • Experience with incident, problem, and change management tools under the ITIL framework. • Proficiency in Project Management tools such as Jira and Confluence. • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. • Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies. Nice to Have: • Advanced knowledge of DevOps tools and automation techniques. • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams in a tech deployment environment.
