Release Manager (m/f/n)

For our Partner we are looking for an experienced Release Manager (m/f/n) to support project for an European organization based in Brussels.

Requirements:
•

Bachelor or engineer degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

•

Minimum 17 years of experience in IT with bachelor degree or 15 years with master's degree

•

17 years in each of SDLC approaches such as Agile/Waterfall/DevSecOps and their impact on release planning/delivery, and relational databases such as Oracle

• 10 years each in CI/CD tools for automated builds/deployments and version control/CI toolchains
• 7 years in monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk/ELK/Prometheus/Grafana for post-deployment stability
• 3 years in WebLogic 14+
• 10 years adjusting release plans to priorities and risks
•

Mandatory: ITIL 4 or 5 Foundation OR an Agile delivery-methodology certification such as SAFe

Optional technical experience:
• 5 years each: international/intergovernmental organisations or central national administrations; pharma, health or agrifood
• containers/orchestration such as Docker/Kubernetes
• Java JDK 11+/JEE 7+
• deployment automation/release orchestration such as XL Deploy/Harness/Spinnaker
• governance such as CABs/go-no-go/rollback
• scripting such as Python/Bash/PowerShell
• issue tracking/collaboration such as Jira/Confluence/SharePoint
• 3 years producing structured technical documentation, reports, specifications and presentations

Offer:
• Location: relocation to Brussels required. Near-site (Brussels within two hours by ground transport) - client may request regular or ad-hoc on-site attendance, with one day’s notice under the delivery-mode table.

• Rate: 700 EUR/MD net+VAT
