Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Introduction & Summary We are currently seeking a Scrum Master / Agile Coach to be an integral part of our clients Finance Transformation programme aimed at establishing a global Invoicing, Collections, and Recovery. The ideal consultant will possess a strong background in implementing agile product operating models, particularly in complex and multifaceted environments. This role focuses on establishing efficient delivery practices and requires a proactive approach to coaching teams towards effective decision-making. Main Responsibilities The Scrum Master / Agile Coach will: • Facilitate the adoption of agile frameworks and practices across teams. • Stabilise delivery processes in environments that are still evolving. • Coach Product Owners in prioritising tasks based on business value. • Foster an environment where teams can make informed decisions and trade-offs. • Contribute to the successful transition to a product-led BizDevOps model. • Challenge ineffective delivery practices and promote efficient workflows. • Encourage the integration of cross-functional teams. • Help establish practical structures that improve overall delivery outcomes. • Focus on achieving delivery effectiveness rather than merely enforcing agile theories. Key Requirements • Proven experience implementing agile or product delivery models in complex environments. • Strong capability in cross-team coordination and managing interdependencies. • Ability to coach teams in backlog management and delivery discipline. • Experience establishing delivery structures in ambiguous settings. • Solid understanding of delivery sequencing and dependency management. • History of improving delivery outcomes beyond mere process adherence. • Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technology domains. • Capability to constructively challenge existing practices to drive clarity. • Demonstrated ownership of delivery enablement results. Nice to Have • Experience in finance operations or transformation environments. • Familiarity with platform-based delivery models. • Exposure to automation and AI-enabled solutions. • Background in transitioning from project to product delivery methods. • Experience working in large, enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders. Other Details This is a hybrid role and the consultant will be needed onsite in the client’s office 1/2 days a week
