Scrum Master / Agile Coach in software development environments

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support and guide Agile delivery teams in building high-quality software products. In this role, you will help teams apply Agile and Scrum practices effectively, eliminate obstacles, and continuously improve collaboration, delivery speed, and product quality. Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills are essential. Key Responsibilities • Agile Facilitation • Facilitate core Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Team Coaching & Mentoring • Support teams in adopting and improving Scrum and Agile practices, fostering self-organization and accountability. • Impediment Management • Proactively identify delivery risks and blockers, and work with teams and stakeholders to remove them. • Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner closely with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and planning; act as a bridge between delivery teams and business stakeholders. • Continuous Improvement • Encourage transparency, open communication, and a culture of learning and continuous improvement across teams. • Metrics & Reporting • Monitor sprint progress, team performance, and delivery metrics; communicate status and insights to stakeholders. Required Qualifications • Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development environments (required). • Certifications • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or comparable Agile certification. • Skills • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks • Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution abilities • Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps Nice to Have • Experience working with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) • Ability to collaborate with distributed and international teams • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
