Senior Cross-Domain Product Manager This is a high-impact role designed to lead cross-domain product initiatives that bridge our vertical teams (Homeowners, Seekers, and Professionals). Reporting to the Product Director, you will act as the "Product Architect," ensuring that our cross-team assets, data strategy, and major transitions are managed with the same rigor as our core vertical products. You are the connective tissue that ensures a seamless user journey and a robust data foundation for the portfolio. You will own the problems of high strategic importance that lack operational ownership and ensure they are driven to completion. Key Responsibilities ● Cross-Team Data Roadmap: Define and drive the product logic for user identity, lead attribution, and other cross-domain journeys across the entire real estate journey. ● Bridge the Gap Between Experience and Platform: Own the customer value for products where the code sits with central platform teams (e.g., identity, messaging, invoicing, etc). You represent the Real Estate vertical’s needs, ensuring these global tools deliver local value. ● Manage Strategic Assets lacking operational ownership: Act as the dedicated owner for high-value shared products that currently lack a home, such as our Map solutions and Neighborhood Profiles Pro-Products, ensuring team capacity or current lack of ownership doesn't block important initiatives. ● Lead "In-Between" Special Projects: Take full ownership of initiatives that move across team boundaries. You are responsible for the discovery, the "run down of details," and driving the project forward from a product perspective when no single squad has the mandate. ● Flexible Strategic Capacity: Provide interim leadership or extra momentum for mission-critical projects (e.g. Nemo, Pro transition, 3rd party partnership integrations) during capacity gaps or structural shifts, or acting as an ad hoc PM capacity in our teams when extra product capacity is needed to ensure progress ● Partner with Tech: Serve as the product counterpart to the Staff Engineer to align technical architecture with product and user needs for cross-domain initiatives. Who You Are ● Experienced Product Professional (: You have a strong foundation in digital product development. While we are open to non-traditional backgrounds (e.g., strategy, tech, or commercial leadership), you must have proven experience driving product execution to operate at this seniority level. ● The Proactive Catalyst: You don’t wait for a backlog or a briefing. You see the gaps, initiate the necessary processes, and get things moving. You are a "finisher" who thrives on taking a vague need and turning it into a landed result. ● Master of Influence: Since you won't always have a dedicated dev team, you must be exceptional at "leading through influence." You know how to build a case that makes other teams want to prioritize your projects. ● Expert Stakeholder Navigator: You can communicate effectively with everyone from deep-tech engineers to executive leadership. You know how to manage expectations and keep people aligned through complex, multi-team projects. ● The Hybrid Specialist: You have the strategic mindset of a Principal PM but aren't afraid to dive into the "weeds" of legacy systems or getting your hands “dirty”, technical specs, or data flows to understand the root of a problem. Differentiation from Adjacent Roles To clarify how this role fits into our leadership structure: ● vs. Product Director: The Director sets the overall product strategy and OKRs; this role translates the horizontal elements of that strategy into actionable product execution. ● vs. Product Manager: A PM owns a single delivery team’s mission and backlog; this role owns the assets, data logic, and journeys that no single PM has the mandate or capacity to prioritize. ● vs. Staff Engineer: The Staff Engineer ensures technical coherence across teams; this role is their counterpart, ensuring product, data, and user experience coherence. Why this role is unique Unlike a traditional PM role tied to one team, you have the autonomy to solve the biggest bottlenecks in the organization. You will have a unique vantage point on the overall product strategy and the freedom to move between the high-level "why" and the technical "how
