Senior IT Delivery Lead – Avaloq & Addepar Expertise

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model As a Senior IT Delivery Lead – Avaloq & Addepar Expertise, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization dedicated to transforming the wealth management industry. You will spearhead end-to-end technology delivery across complex, regulated environments, driving impactful solutions that streamline client experiences and optimize financial operations. Your main responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end delivery for one or more workstreams, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk are actively managed. • Drive delivery planning: work breakdown, estimation, milestones, critical path, dependency mapping, and release sequencing. • Own delivery governance including RAID management, delivery reporting, and decision tracking. • Ensure deliverables meet agreed functional and non-functional requirements (security, resilience, performance, scalability, maintainability). • Lead delivery activities involving Avaloq (wealth/core banking platform delivery, configuration/change, integration, data flows) and/or Addepar (portfolio reporting/data platform delivery, data onboarding, integration, reporting outputs). • Coordinate platform-specific changes with internal SMEs and vendors, ensuring impact analysis across systems. • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring sound design decisions, adherence to quality standards, CI/CD practices, and production readiness. • Act as the central point of coordination across engineering, QA, data, infrastructure, security, operations, and vendors. • Run delivery ceremonies and working sessions, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment across teams. • Define and execute comprehensive testing, release, and early-life support strategies including cutover planning and risk mitigation. • Ensure compliance with SDLC controls, change management, and operational risk standards; proactively manage technical and delivery risks. You're ideal for this role if you have: • 5+ years of experience as a delivery or technical lead in complex enterprise environments. • Strong understanding of modern delivery practices (SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, release management). • Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage dependencies effectively. • Experience delivering integration-heavy solutions (APIs, data pipelines, batch processing, messaging/eventing). • In-depth knowledge of regulatory environments, with a focus on financial services. • Platform expertise in one or both:Avaloq (delivery leadership, integration, data flows) • Addepar (delivery leadership, data/integration, reporting) • Experience working with private banking or wealth management domains is a strong advantage. It is a strong plus if you have: • Familiarity with production operations and observability tools (monitoring, logging, alerting). • Experience in incident and problem management. • Past collaboration with third-party vendors and international distributed teams.
