Opis stanowiska
About the role Rimthan is a corporate venture builder operating across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. We launch ventures with regional partners and act as the product, design, and engineering muscle behind them. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is genuinely AI-native, an expert prototyper, and obsessed with execution. You will own the design surface of one of our ventures, working hand in hand with venture building, product management, engineering, and UX research, and you will use AI to compress the distance between idea and working software to days, not weeks. This is a role for someone comfortable being uncomfortable. The pace is fast, the environment is hands-on, and we expect you to get shit done. Reports to our Chief Product and Design Officer, Marcus Wiberg. What you will do • Own the craft. Take a problem from fuzzy ask to shipped, polished experience. You define the visual and interaction direction, the bar for quality, and what good looks like end to end.Prototype, fast. Stand up working, interactive prototypes in hours using Figma, Figma Make, Claude, Cursor, v0, Lovable, Replit, and whatever comes next. Bring something testable to every conversation, not static screens. • Design systems and patterns. Build and evolve the design language for your venture. Make it scalable, opinionated, and consistent, without slowing the team down. • Spend your time on the right things. Use agentic workflows to automate the work that does not need you (asset production, redlines, design QA, component variants, copy iterations) so you can spend most of your time on the hard creative and product problems. • Partner on discovery. Work with UX research and product to talk to users weekly, validate flows, and keep the team honest about what is working and what is not. • Communicate and align. Drive clarity across venture building, engineering, product, research, leadership, and partners. Strong written and verbal communication is non-negotiable. • Ship. Push designs to production with engineering, hold the quality bar through release, and iterate on what users actually do. Who you are • 5 to 8 years in product design, with a track record of shipping products real users use. • Strong visual and interaction craft. Your work holds up next to the best in the industry, and you can explain why every decision is the way it is. • Expert at vibe coding. You can put a working, coded prototype in front of a user without waiting for an engineer. • Deep, hands-on user of Claude. You have pushed the tool well past chat: chained tools, MCP integrations, custom agents, evals, or workflows that do real work for you and your team. • Fluent in modern design tools. Figma to a senior level, Figma Make, and AI-powered design and prototyping tools as part of your daily flow. • Strong communicator. You make complex things clear, fast, in writing and in the room. • Strong collaborator across disciplines. You partner naturally with venture builders, product managers, engineers, and researchers, and you know how to get the best out of each. • Entrepreneurial and creative under constraint. You take ownership without being asked, you finish things, and you find the path others miss when time or scope is tight. • Hands-on by default. You execute, you get shit done, and you thrive in fast-paced ambiguity. • Excellent written and verbal English. Big pluses • Previous experience working in the GCC. You understand the regional market dynamics, cultural nuances, and business landscape in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. • Arabic. Useful given where we operate, optional otherwise. Bonus if you have shipped RTL interfaces and understand the typographic and layout considerations that come with it. • Founder or entrepreneur background. You have started something of your own, run it, and lived with the consequences. You know what it feels like to own a problem end to end. • Software house, consultancy, or agency experience. You already know how to context-switch across clients, ship under fixed timelines, and deliver work that holds up to outside scrutiny. • Engineering or product background. Not required, but a massive advantage. If you can pair with engineers as a peer on technical decisions, or step into PM-shaped problems when needed, we want to hear from you. What we offer • Real ownership of a product line inside a venture being built and scaled in real time. • A team that already operates as AI-native. No fight to use Claude, Cursor, or new tools as they emerge. • Direct access to executives at Rimthan and our partner organisations. Decisions happen fast. • Competitive compensation and a high-trust, low-bureaucracy environment. • 20 days of paid time off, including some recognised public holidays. • Travel may occasionally be required. It is rare, and we cover flights and accommodation when it happens.
