Senior Project Manager

Rate: 100 – 140 PLN/h (B2B Contract)Location: Remote (EMEA / USCA) Industry: IT / Enterprise Finance / ERP We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to spearhead complex, global ERP transformations and tax system integrations. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can navigate the intersection of Finance and IT, managing multi-million dollar projects across diverse geographical regions. The Role As a Senior PM, you will take full ownership of the project lifecycle—from initial discovery to post-go-live stabilization. You will be the bridge between technical teams, external vendors, and executive leadership, ensuring that enterprise-scale integrations (specifically involving Oracle R12 and Vertex) are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Key Responsibilities • End-to-End Delivery: Lead the complete project lifecycle for ERP and tax-related system deployments. • Strategic Planning: Develop integrated project plans, tracking dependencies across complex IT landscapes. • Financial Stewardship: Take full accountability for project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Governance & Reporting: Establish robust governance structures and provide executive-level reporting (SteerCo) to senior leadership. • Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify risks and lead change management activities to evaluate impacts on scope and cost. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate collaboration between Finance, IT, integration partners, and external vendors. • Implementation Oversight: Manage testing coordination, cutover planning, and deployment readiness activities. Required Experience & Skills • Expertise: Minimum of 8 years in IT Project or Program Management leading large-scale enterprise initiatives. • ERP Knowledge: Proven track record in ERP transformations, specifically within Oracle R12 environments. • Tax Systems: Hands-on experience with tax engine implementations (knowledge of Vertex is a significant advantage). • Complexity Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder, geographically distributed projects. • Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of enterprise integrations, data flows, and indirect tax processes (Sales & Use tax). • Methodology: Strong command of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery frameworks. • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and executive reporting capabilities. • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
