Are you an experienced Project Manager who knows how to drive complex infrastructure transformations from planning through successful execution?
Do you have a proven track record in large-scale VMware migrations, Azure cloud transformation and international project environments – and are you comfortable taking ownership when projects become complex?
Then join our team and support one of our highest-priority international infrastructure transformation projects.
Your future team and working environment
As part of our team at digatus Poland in Wrocław, you will take a key role in a large-scale international VMware Exit Program. The project covers the migration of approximately 15,000–20,000 workloads across five major locations in the US, Europe and India.
Together with international infrastructure, cloud and application teams, you will coordinate the transition from existing VMware environments towards Azure Native, Nutanix and Hyper-V, including more complex vApps and vTemplates.
The role is primarily remote and operates within the CET time zone, while requiring close collaboration with stakeholders across multiple international time zones. Occasional travel to Germany may be required.

What to expect
•
Project Leadership – Take end-to-end responsibility for planning, execution, tracking and governance of a large-scale international infrastructure migration.
• VMware Exit – Coordinate the migration of 15,000–20,000 workloads, including complex vApps and vTemplates, from existing VMware environments.
• Azure Transformation – Drive the transition towards Azure Native alongside Nutanix and Hyper-V as target virtualization platforms.
• Migration Management – Structure migration waves, dependencies, milestones and deliverables while ensuring reliable execution across multiple sites.
• Stakeholder Management – Coordinate infrastructure, cloud, application and business stakeholders across the US, Europe and India.
• Governance & Reporting – Establish transparent project governance, track progress, risks and dependencies and provide reliable reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Risk & Issue Management – Proactively identify critical dependencies, resolve blockers and drive escalations to ensure successful project delivery.
• Cross-functional Coordination – Work closely with international technical teams and external technology partners throughout the transformation.
What you bring
• Experience – Several years of experience as a Senior Project Manager leading complex IT infrastructure, cloud or transformation programs.
• Migration Expertise – Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure migrations, ideally including VMware exit or virtualization transformation projects.
• Azure & Cloud – Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud transformation projects; experience with Azure Native environments is highly desirable.
• Infrastructure Know-how – Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, virtualization and workload migration; Nutanix and Hyper-V knowledge is a plus.
• Project Management – Strong experience in project planning, governance, risk management, dependency management and delivery control.
• Agile Environment – Experience working with agile or hybrid project methodologies in complex enterprise environments.
• Leadership – Highly proactive and execution-focused mindset with the ability to drive cross-functional teams without relying solely on formal authority.
• Languages – Excellent English communication skills are required for collaboration in an international project environment; German is a plus.
