Technical Project Manager

Our Poznań office offers you an opportunity to join a fully integrated branch of ADDRETAIL and be part of a team that brings expertise and a collaborative spirit to our projects and customers.   The role: We are looking for a versatile Technical Project Manager, who will join our small team in Poznan. Your mission will be to manage internal and client projects, bring structure and clarity to project planning and execution, and to maintain our PMO standards. You think in systems. You are comfortable bringing business and technology, translating complexity into actionable plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning chaos into structure and who connects business and technology worlds. What you will do: • Manage the scope, budget and timeline of assigned IT and digital projects, to ensure successful delivery ad achievement of agreed project goals. • Take end-to-end ownership of project execution, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical solutions and delivery constraints. • Ensure that business needs are understood by the project team and translated into clear technical and operational tasks. • Plan project work, including realistic resource planning and workload management across multiple parallel initiatives. • Identify and manage dependencies, risks and changes in assigned projects, proactively assessing their impact, and marking trade-offs to stakeholders. • Actively challenge proposed solutions, scope decisions and assumptions. • Ensure efficient communication between external clients or internal shareholders and the project team, managing expectations. • Produce and maintain project documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency and traceability. • Contribute to continuous improvement based on project learnings and best practices, and share this with the PMO. • Communicate in English on daily basis in an international project environment. What we need from you: • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing technical projects involving software development, data, or AI. • Very good command of English (C1 is preferred) and Polish (C1) enabling confident communication with local and international stakeholders. • Good, practical  understanding of software development and software architecture concepts, allowing you to communicate freely with the team and to challenge them when needed. • Ability to clearly explain complex technical matters to non-technical stakeholders, and to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical concepts and tasks. • Practical experience or strong interest in AI or Data areas. • Ability to turn chaos into structure, bringing clarity to ambiguous or loosely defined situations. • Ability to manage several projects at the same time, while maintaining control over priorities, and quality. • Naturally high level of ownership and accountability. • Good understanding of both agile and cascading project methodologies. Nice to have: • Agency or Software House experience – familiarity with the dynamics of working for external clients. • Practical knowledge of SDLC – understanding the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle. • AI for productivity – hands-on experience with AI tools to streamline your daily workflow. • Process visualization – experience in mapping workflows and systems using tools like Miro, Lucidchart, or similar.
