KYC - Technical Project Manager What you will be doing: • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives focused on ensuring the performance, stability, and scalability of business-critical applications. • Coordinate cross-functional teams of infrastructure, database, and application experts to diagnose, prioritize, and resolve complex performance and reliability issues. • Define, plan, and manage technical workstreams, including scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives. • Drive the analysis of application and infrastructure performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and oversee the implementation of remediation actions and long-term improvements. • Implement and govern standards, best practices, and procedures related to performance engineering, capacity management, and operational stability. • Collaborate closely with architecture, development, operations, and business stakeholders to translate non-functional requirements into actionable technical plans. • Ensure effective use of monitoring, logging, and error-analysis tools to proactively detect issues and maintain high availability and reliability of the platform. • Prepare and present clear status reports, risk assessments, and decision proposals to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making. Who you are: • A hands-on technical leader who can comfortably switch between high-level planning and detailed technical discussions with engineers and architects. • A structured and goal-oriented project manager who takes ownership, drives topics to completion, and is comfortable making decisions in complex environments. • An effective communicator able to translate technical topics into clear messages for non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams. • A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of accountability, able to anticipate risks, propose mitigation strategies, and challenge the status quo when needed. • A team player and role model who fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement within and across technical teams. Must-have knowledge and experience: • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role leading complex IT projects in enterprise environments, ideally with a strong infrastructure or platform focus. • Solid background in IT infrastructure and performance engineering, including experience with high-availability, scalable, and mission-critical systems. • Hands-on understanding of relational databases, ideally MS SQL Server, including performance troubleshooting, query optimization, and capacity considerations. • Practical experience with event streaming technologies, preferably Apache Kafka, and their role in modern, distributed application architectures. • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their use in deploying and operating large-scale applications. • Experience working with application and infrastructure monitoring, logging, and APM tools to analyze errors, latency, throughput, and overall system health. • Proven track record of managing cross-functional technical teams, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within scope. • Very good command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages are an asset. Nice-to-have knowledge and experience: Previous exposure to Pega-based applications will be considered a strong advantage.
