They have successfully led teams during moments of transformation - whether related to growth, restructuring, integration, leadership change, or a broader shift in engineering maturity and ways of working. This role requires someone who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution, while building credibility with senior stakeholders and strengthening the performance of the wider organisation. A background in large technology-driven companies, digital businesses, SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, or similarly complex environments will be highly relevant. Zakres obowiązków: Lead a large, geographically distributed software engineering organisation across Europe. Drive transformation and change initiatives across the engineering function, including organisational design, leadership effectiveness, delivery improvement, and operating model evolution. Define and execute the engineering strategy for the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term company objectives. Build stronger engineering standards, improve execution quality, and create greater consistency across teams and locations. Develop, coach, and strengthen the engineering leadership layer, including senior managers and directors. Partner closely with senior stakeholders across technology, product, operations, and business functions. Lead the organisation through periods of scale, integration, and continuous improvement. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, quality, and delivery excellence. Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, prioritisation, and resource allocation across the regional engineering organisation. Ensure the function operates with strong governance, sound risk awareness, and high leadership discipline.
