Automation Test Engineer – VMware Aria (vRO / vRA Service Broker)

Responsibilities: • Execute end-to-end testing of VMware Aria Orchestrator (vRO) workflows, including functionality, logic validation, and error handling • Validate automation processes delivered through VMware Aria Automation Service Broker • Verify correct execution and expected outcomes of service requests submitted via Service Broker • Analyse workflow runs, investigate issues, and prepare detailed defect reports • Create and maintain structured test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and checklists • Test REST API integrations with external systems and services • Validate workflow dependencies, conditions, input/output parameters, and execution paths • Support troubleshooting activities related to automation workflows and integrations • Collaborate closely with automation engineers, developers, and DevOps teams to resolve identified issues • Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and automation quality standards   Requirements: • 4+ years of experience in automation testing, integration testing, or infrastructure automation environments • Strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Orchestrator (vRO), including workflows, actions, and inventory/items • Experience working with VMware Aria Automation Service Broker • Ability to read, analyse, and perform minor modifications in JavaScript used within vRO workflows • Experience developing custom vRO actions and/or workflows • Strong understanding of workflow logic testing, including conditions, error handlers, and parameter validation • Experience with vRO REST plugin, HTTP integrations, and external APIs • Practical experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, curl, or equivalent • Solid experience in functional testing and preparing structured defect documentation • Experience working with Jira and Confluence • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and basic Git usage • Ability to read and understand PowerShell scripts • Good understanding of JSON structures • Linux user-level knowledge, including logs review, diagnostics, and basic command-line operations • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) Nice to have: • Experience testing automation or integration platforms • Understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments and principles • Experience with logging and monitoring systems • Knowledge of SQL databases such as MSSQL or PostgreSQL • Experience working with vault/security platforms such as CyberArk or Bitwarden • Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as BMC Helix   Offer: • Private medical care • Co-financing for the sports card • Constant support of dedicated consultant • Employee referral program
