Role: Senior QA Tester Location: Lisbon, Portugal Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 About the Role The selected consultant will join a project within a private banking/asset management environment, supporting the quality assurance activities for business-critical applications. The role focuses on ensuring that software products meet high-quality standards before reaching end users, by participating in the full testing lifecycle and collaborating closely with both technical and business teams. The consultant will work within a cross-functional environment, interacting with project managers, development teams, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality solutions. Main Responsibilities • Ensure that software products meet high-quality standards before release • Establish and maintain a quality management approach for testing activities • Design, write, and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements • Participate in new feature testing and non-regression testing • Organize, plan, and track pre-release testing activities • Ensure that defects identified during testing are properly documented, tracked, and resolved • Create and update automated tests within the testing factory • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes • Collaborate closely with business teams, IT teams, and project stakeholders Key Requirements • At least 3 years of experience within the private banking or asset management sector • A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, configuration documentation, testing phases, and migration activities • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, testing teams, and architects • Experience supporting business and technology change initiatives • Ability to identify, document, analyse, and improve business processes, system processes, and user journeys • Aware of market trends within wealth management and private banking Nice to Have • Experience writing and executing automated tests using Selenium Other Details The role is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and requires full-time engagement during standard business hours.
