We are Snowdog & IronPlane - a team of ecommerce specialists operating under two brands, delivering projects for clients across the US and Europe. We provide tailored web and mobile ecommerce solutions designed to meet our clients’ unique needs. We are currently looking for a Manual Tester to join us on a B2B / contractor basis, supporting the quality of our e-commerce solutions (mainly Magento 2 and mobile applications). 🛠️ Tech stack we use:Jira / Confluence/ Slack/ Google Workspace / GitLab / ai Tools/ TestRail We’re looking for someone who has: • Proficiency in Polish (spoken and written) • Basic to solid experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications at least 1 year. • Understanding of web application fundamentals (client-server architecture, browsers, HTTP basics) • Basic knowledge of API testing (REST, status codes, request/response validation) • Experience or familiarity with at least one test management tool (e.g., Qase, TestRail, Zephyr, TestMonitor, Testomat.io etc.) • Basic understanding of the e-commerce domain (Magento 2) Nice to have: • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification What are you going to do: • Perform manual testing of web and mobile e-commerce applications to ensure high quality and usability across platforms • Verify that the software meets both technical specifications and business requirements • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans aligned with project scope and timelines • Create detailed test cases and execute them, ensuring proper coverage of functionalities and edge cases • Identify, document, and report defects, as well as track their lifecycle to resolution • Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other team members to ensure smooth delivery of features • Perform API testing to validate data integrity, integration points, and system behavior • Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation related to testing What we offer: • B2B cooperation based on a time & material model (hourly rate, tracked working hours) • Full-time workload planned for first 3 months, after trial period ends, to be determined • If you are a Poland-based contractor, you can join our private medical care (Enel-Med) and sports card program (Medicover) • Opportunity to learn from and work closely with senior team member • International team environment: collaborate with a supportive team distributed across multiple countries and time zones, bringing global expertise and diverse perspectives to your daily work • Your contribution will be clearly visible and genuinely valued, not lost in large-scale corporate structures • Close-knit team culture in a small company with a flat organizational structure, focused on genuine collaboration and mutual support • Location flexibility: you can deliver your tasks fully remotely, and if you enjoy spending time in an office environment, you’re welcome to use our well-equipped space in central Poznań (Poland). • Time flexibility: the collaboration can also be flexible in terms of hours. Our team operates across multiple time zones, so schedules are aligned in a way that supports smooth cooperation rather than fixed time frames. Additional Information: • Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension (after the trial period) • Type of work: Remote (no location restrictions) • Equipment: Own equipment required (licenses will be provided if needed) Here is what comes next, if you meet the requirements: 1. HR Interview (Online) We will discuss your professional experience, previous challenges, and your expectations for working at Snowdog & IronPlane. 2. Recruitment Task (approx. 1 hour) You will complete a short practical task to help us better understand your approach to testing and problem-solving. 3. Technical Interview (Online) You will meet with our Tech Lead and/or Project/Delivery Manager to learn more about the project and requirements. We will also ask questions to assess your technical knowledge and practical skills. 4. Feedback & Next Steps After the interviews, we will provide feedback and share our decision regarding the next stage.
