Functional Tester

PROJECT INFORMATION: Location: Hybrid - 2 x week WarsawAssignment type: B2B Rate: 115 pln/h nett + Vat Summary: The Functional Tester role in the BEE team involves ensuring the quality and reliability of backend systems by designing and executing tests aligned with business requirements across various markets. The primary objective of this role is to support continuous improvement and maintain the integrity of decision engines critical for credit scorecards. Main Responsibilities: • Design and execute functional, E2E, and UAT test cases based on business requirements, ensuring solutions operate correctly. • Collaborate with analysts and product owners to clarify and translate requirements into test scenarios. • Aid in maintaining high-quality delivery by reviewing test scripts and aligning testing with SDLC/STLC practices. • Identify and document defects, guiding the team in issue resolution to enhance product stability. • Conduct backend-focused testing on REST API, SOAP, SQL, and databases, with support for frontend testing if necessary. • Assist in automated test execution and updates to foster more efficient and dependable testing methods. • Communicate effectively in Polish and English, facilitating collaboration across international teams. Key Requirements: • 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester with strong backend testing skills (REST API, SOAP, SQL). • Strong experience with Excel and Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum). • Familiarity with testing phases and types (integration, UAT, E2E, functional testing). Nice to Have: • Finance or banking industry experience. • Background in automation testing and knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python. • ISTQB certification.
