QA Automation Lead

Employer: International cassino games studio Location: Office-based position in central Warsaw Salary: 5950 - 7600 EUR on B2B Cooperation model: B2B Start date: ASAP Recruitment process: 2 online interviews and recruitment task  Technology stack: Playwright or Cypress or Selenium, GIT, Jenkins, Javascript or Typescript      Your role is to: -> Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks covering UI, API, and end-to-end testing;  -> Lead a small team of QA engineers, providing hands-on guidance, code reviews, and day-to-day direction;  -> Take responsibility for test coverage across assigned product areas, ensuring regressions are caught before they reach production; -> Build and maintain performance test scripts that are reusable, version controlled, and easy to update as the product changes;  -> Integrate and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines, owning the feedback loop for your team; -> Define and enforce testing standards, processes, and documentation within the squad; -> Collaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements and translate them into thorough test plans; -> Own defect triage and test failure analysis, coordinating directly with engineers to drive resolution; -> Continuously improving test reliability, speed, and coverage, proactively flagging risks to engineering leads;   Your skills and experiences: -> 6+ years of QA automation experience, with demonstrated ownership of a test automation codebase; -> Solid hands-on experience with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium;  -> Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts; -> Proven experience owning CI/CD-integrated test pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar); -> Solid API testing experience using tools such as Postman or Supertest; -> Familiarity with RESTful API and WebSocket testing for real-time features; -> Good understanding of Git workflows and agile delivery practices; -> Strong communicators who can represent quality concern clearly to developers and product stakeholders; -> Ownership mentality — takes accountability for test outcomes and drives issues through to resolution; -> Organized and methodical, able to manage workload across multiple features and release cycles; -> Collaborative team lead who enjoys growing junior engineers and raising the quality bar;
