For a fast-growing tech & defense startup, we are looking for a QA Embedded Engineer to join a team working on autonomous devices used in real, mission-critical environments.This role has a direct impact on product quality — from the concept phase, through testing, to production. The position is hybrid (Warsaw) — on-site presence is required due to physical hardware testing. Responsibilities: • Full ownership of hardware quality — from concept to production (hardware, firmware, system integrations) • Planning, creating, and maintaining test plans and quality reports • Performing manual hardware and firmware testing, as well as collaborating on test automation where needed • Cooperating with the production team to implement quality controls during manufacturing • Identifying and implementing improvements in quality processes • Acting as the main point of contact for hardware quality • Close collaboration with hardware, software, and production teams Requirements • Minimum 1,5 year of experience as an Embedded QA Engineer, Hardware QA Engineer, or Hardware Engineer • Experience in defense, military, IoT, or telco sectors • Hands-on experience with measurement tools: oscilloscope, multimeter, caliper • Strong understanding of QA principles, hardware testing, and real-time data • Experience with Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Nordic, Silabs, TI) and Linux environments • Ability to diagnose communication issues (protocols and interfaces) • Education or background in electronics or radio engineering, with the ability to read and understand electronic schematics • Strong root cause analysis skills and ability to produce clear, structured reports • Very good communication and teamwork skills, responsibility, and flexibility Why Join? • Work on a real, technologically advanced hardware product • Significant impact on product quality and development direction • Stable, long-term cooperation • Collaboration with an experienced, multidisciplinary team • A high-complexity project with real-world relevance
