QA Engineer

QA Engineer Intro We’re looking for a QA engineer to join our fully-remote team at Localo. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Product team to ensure the quality of our web app. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing tests, validating product changes, and helping to resolve bugs. We need someone with a strong understanding of QA processes who can take ownership of testing and contribute to delivering a high-quality product.Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with the Product team (3 devs, 2 PDs, 1 copywriter, 1 PM) to ensure high-quality product delivery • Plan and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and integration tests of the Localo web app • Validate product changes against specifications and business requirements, combining user acceptance testing with API/backend tests • Identify, prioritize and help drive the resolution of bugs • Support investigation and resolution of customer-reported issues • Own QA processes and documentation (test cases, functional documentation, etc.) • Advocate for product quality, supporting high standards throughout the software development and delivery cycles Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman or similar) • Experience working with test case management tools • Experience working with SaaS products in Agile environments • Analytical mindset, attention to detail and high ownership • Very good command of English (minimum B2) • ISTQB and experience with test automation are a plus Tech Stack • Frontend: React, Antd, Typescript • Backend: Elixir, Graphql, Postgres • Project management: Jira, Confluence How We Work: • Flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the world. • We value autonomy and accountability rather than time tracking. • Agreed availability hours: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. • We continuously improve our workflow and collaboration as the company grows and new challenges arise. • We focus on every employee’s impact on marketing, product, and openness to feedback. • Periodic team integration meetings to support team development. • We operate based on mutual trust – no unnecessary bureaucracy or time monitoring. • We strive to build something great, and everyone is highly motivated. • We work in both English and Polish.   What We Offer: • B2B contract, 12-15 thousand PLN net per month – negotiable depending on experience. • Up to 26 paid vacation days per year. • Support for professional development: subsidies for industry training, courses, and conferences. • Strong emphasis on good relationships, open communication, and a positive work atmosphere. • Fully equipped workspace. • Work in an energetic and enthusiastic team. • Team integration meetings. • Send your CV to: career@localo.com
