We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. You will play an important role in validating front-end functionality, user experience, and data accuracy across our platforms. This position involves working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values learning, continuous improvement, and attention to detail. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure a high-quality experience for our end users. - Execute manual test cases for web applications, covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing. - Identify, document, and track bugs with clear and reproducible steps using tools such as Jira or similar defect tracking systems. - Validate front-end behavior across browsers and devices, ensuring a consistent and accessible user experience. - Write and maintain basic automated tests for UI workflows using Cypress or similar frameworks, with guidance from senior team members. - Assist in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, verifying response accuracy and data integrity. - Perform basic data validation by writing simple SQL queries against PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. - Participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning sessions, and release readiness reviews within an Agile/Scrum team. - Contribute to maintaining and improving test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and checklists. - Collaborate with developers to understand feature requirements and translate them into testable scenarios. - Support the team in integrating basic automated checks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or Jenkins), with mentorship from senior engineers. - Flag usability and accessibility issues discovered during manual testing.
