QA Lead

O projekcie: QA Lead Location: Kraków, Poland (hybrid 8x per month from office) We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of quality assurance activities across complex IT solutions. The role combines hands-on quality expertise with leadership responsibilities and close collaboration with development, product, and business teams. We Offer - Opportunity to lead quality initiatives in impactful projects - Work in an international, collaborative environment - Flexible working model (hybrid / onsite) - Competitive compensation and long-term cooperation - Professional growth and influence on quality standards and processes Wymagania: - Proven experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or Senior QA with leadership responsibilities - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices - Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing (UI and API) - Practical knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or similar - Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Xray, TestRail) - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail - Very good command of English (minimum B2 level) Nice to Have - Experience with performance or security testing - Background in financial services, banking, or other regulated environments - ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications Codzienne zadania: - Define, implement, and continuously improve the QA strategy and testing processes - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and automation) - Plan, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects - Ensure high quality of delivered software through effective test planning, execution, and reporting - Drive test automation strategy and support its adoption within the team - Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders - Manage defect lifecycle and ensure transparent communication of quality risks - Take part in release readiness, go/no-go decisions, and production quality monitoring - Promote best practices in QA, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement
