QA Lead Engineer

O projekcie: We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join a forward-thinking project focused on monitoring CO₂ emissions in the maritime industry. The platform leverages ship operational data and a modern, technology stack including Python, Django, React, Databricks, AWS, CI/CD, and Cloud Code to deliver meaningful, real-world impact. In addition to leading QA efforts, this role involves working across multiple parallel work streams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that quality is maintained across several ongoing initiatives while contributing to the successful delivery of AI-powered features and solutions-from early prototypes through to production. This position combines leadership, hands-on quality ownership, and the opportunity to work closely with AI-driven systems, supporting their validation, testing, and rollout in a production environment. Wymagania: - Experience in the role of a QA Team Lead - Strong logical thinking and ability to connect the dots across complex, multi-component systems - 6y+ experience in manual and automation testing - Strong experience in backend test automation, with excellent knowledge of Playwright. - Hands-on experience with AI-driven systems, including validating model outputs and ensuring reliability of AI-powered features in production environments (We work with Claude Code) - Experience working with AI-based products and contributing to their quality across the development lifecycle - Knowledge of Testiny - for test management - Experience working in SCRUM and Jira - Experience with test documentation (bug reports, test cases, etc) - Experience with REST API tests - Proficient in English (C1 level and higher) - Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset and a focus on supporting the team rather than just delegating tasks Nice to have - experience in the maritime industry and ETS/FuelEU regulations - Python knowledge - Experience with big data or BI projects - Experience with Postman / Apidog - Experience with performance testing (jMeter, K6, etc.) Codzienne zadania: - Leading a QA team while working alongside it hands-on as a QA engineer - Transitioning towards test automation - Testing, validating, and supporting the rollout of AI-powered solutions from prototype to production, ensuring quality and reliability of AI-driven products - Managing and coordinating multiple parallel work streams within QA and product delivery - Developing testing plans and scenarios - Creating comprehensive documentation - Conducting manual testing
