More on the Group on our website https://astek.net.  Position We are looking for a Quality Assurance engineer to develop and execute manual and exploratory tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate should be an open-minded engineer with a willingness to develop themselves and the ability to work with rather complex systems. Additional information Model of work: hybrid, 3 days from the client's office (Katowice). Fully onsite during the onboarding. Offered salary Salary: from 800 to 1100 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences. You’re ideal for this role if you: • Strong QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation)  • Excellent skills with documenting and troubleshooting errors (JIRA)  • Knowledge of Test Automation   • Basic knowledge of IT Infrastructure  • Ability to writing technical documentation (Confluence)  • Familiarity with different types of testing (regression, exploration, performance, E2E, FVT, penetration)  • Knowledge of software development life cycle  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills  • Have ability to work in team  • Good English communication skills (speaking and writing)  • At least 5 years’ experience as test engineer (including experience in test automation)  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Nice to have: • API Testing: JMeter, Postman, Swagger  • Knowledge of tools: Ranorex, XRay, GIT, Jenkins  • Understanding Agile software development process  • Analytical mind, interested in new technologies and not afraid of new challenges  • Experience with contemporary quality approaches such as TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD  • Programming skills (preferred C#, JavaScript, PowerShell)  • Knowledge of MS SQL and T-SQL scripts and procedures.  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) Your day-to-day responsibilities include:​ • Creating test cases and test reports based on test plan  • Leading the test activities within the project  • Create, update, maintain and execute API and UX tests  • Create, maintain and improve test automation  • Preparing clear, concise and comprehensive test concepts  • Review and retest test failures and verify fixes  • Report progress to the test manager  • Deployment of new environments and updating existing environments  • Participate in product planning and design  • Collaborate with all product development teams  • Setting up and maintaining test environments  Our recruitment process Call with our Recruiter -> Call with our Business Manager -> Meeting with Client If necessary, after call with the Recruiter, we also invite you to an additional technical verification stage.
