Senior QA Engineer

Introduction & Summary The successful candidate will join the Data Enablement Team as an Expert QA Engineer, playing a critical role in ensuring software quality through effective testing strategy and automation. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement, this position requires a high level of self-motivation and the ability to adapt within an Agile environment. Key qualifications include extensive experience in development, database technologies, and testing automation. What we offer: • Rate: 150-160 pln/h + VAT • Long Term B2B Contract • Hybrid 2 days in office and 3 days from home Main Responsibilities • Drive the testing strategy and automation for software quality assurance. • Collaborate with developers, analysts, Product Owners (POs), and Scrum Masters (SMs). • Challenge existing solutions to propose more efficient processes. • Utilize test management tools effectively. • Conduct thorough testing and ensure adherence to quality standards. • Maintain documentation of testing processes and outcomes. • Participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver results in a timely manner. • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) initiatives. Key Requirements • 7+ years of development experience with Python. • 7+ years of experience with database technologies. • 5+ years of experience with GIT. • 4+ years of experience with Robot Framework. • 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. • Strong working experience with Linux and bash. • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with test management tools such as qTest and Zephyr. • Excellent communication skills for collaboration. Nice to Have • Familiarity with distributed data processing engines like Spark. • Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Oozie, MapReduce, etc.). • Confident in writing complex SQL queries. • Basic AWS knowledge of architectural components (Lambda, step functions, state machine, etc.).
