What we are looking for

Branchspace works with major travel brands, including airlines, to design and deliver world-class digital applications. Fast-growing team with our head office in central London and the main engineering centre in Krakow, with significant experience providing digital innovation and consulting services to travel brands and tech vendors.We are looking for a Mid/Senior QA Engineer to join our engineering team.

This is a long-term, hybrid role, based in Krakow.The ideal candidate should enjoy the challenge of joining an agile, growing company. They need to take pride in delivering exceptional solutions to improve the travel technology industry and be part of the team to influence the technical direction.

What the role involves:

- Choose and set up testing frameworks and processes
- Recommend and implement improvements to the test automation framework
- Prepare test cases/test scenarios
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Assess unit tests and integration test coverage
- Identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve coverage
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Report bugs and errors to development
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Wymagania:
- Experience with JavaScript based automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress)
- At least 5 years of testing experience
- Hands-on experience with test automation using TypeScript and Playwright
- Knowledge and experience in Agile environments
- Experience working with tools like Jira and Zephyr
- Test automation within a continuous integration environment
- Demonstrated ability to change direction and re-prioritise in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication skills. Attentive to detail and highly organised
- Airline / travel agency domain / industry experience is a plus
- English level: B2/C1
- Please note that this is a hybrid role and 2 days per week of working from the office are required.

Codzienne zadania:
- Design automation components or modules that can be leveraged across multiple test scripts
- Use of a conventional automation framework
- Support test automation framework, planning and execution
- Analyse and identify suitable appliances for test automation
- Help improve code quality via automation testing
- Write and execute test automation script and provide support during the issue resolution process
