Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Nasze wymagania: Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing or QA roles. Strong understanding of manual testing techniques and methodologies. Experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest discrepancies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Good communication skills to effectively report issues and discuss technical details with developers. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams is a plus. O projekcie: We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced Functional QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, a keen eye for identifying potential issues, and a solid understanding of software development processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through effective testing practices. Zakres obowiązków: Test Planning and Design: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements and user stories. Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure the software works as expected and meets business requirements. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the software, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Test Execution and Documentation: Execute test cases and document results clearly, including both successes and issues found during testing. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback from a quality perspective. Regression Testing: Ensure new features or updates do not break existing functionality through thorough regression testing. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and the overall quality assurance strategy, recommending tools, processes, and methodologies. Reporting and Metrics: Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and test coverage, highlighting any risks or issues that may affect product release. User Experience Validation: Ensure that the application’s functionality aligns with user needs and expectations, contributing to a positive user experience.
