Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate combines strong programming skills with deep QA expertise, a shift-left testing mindset, and hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. They will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to identify risks early, accelerate release cycles, and drive a culture of quality across the SDLC.
Must-Have Skills
• Test Automation Frameworks: Proven expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable test code.
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with REST APIs, using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Playwright API testing.
• CI/CD and DevOps: Experience integrating automated tests into pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Test Strategy and Quality Engineering: Strong understanding of test design, risk-based testing, regression testing, and the testing pyramid.
• Database and SQL: Ability to validate data integrity and backend processes using SQL and database queries.
• Debugging and Root Cause Analysis: Proven ability to investigate failures, identify defects, reduce flaky tests, and improve automation reliability.
• Agile and Collaboration: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with developers and product teams, and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle.
