Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java)

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java). 🔹 Working Mode: Warsaw Office once per month Responsibilities • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests in Java • Creating and executing API tests (REST/SOAP), including authorization, headers, request/response bodies, and status codes • Collaborating closely with development and testing teams • Supporting and improving automated testing processes • Working with test management and defect tracking tools • Participating in CI/CD-driven testing activities Requirements Technical • Minimum 10 years of overall experience in test automation • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java-based test automation • Strong knowledge of automated test development in Java • Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) • Familiarity with test and defect management tools (e.g. JIRA) • Basic understanding of CI/CD processes (e.g. Jenkins, Git) Soft skills • Ability to work effectively with development and QA teams • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and test process improvement • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Nice to have • Experience with UFT Developer is a plus • ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher) • Knowledge of other testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Gatling) • Experience in performance testing • Knowledge of UFT One (Visual Basic) What we offer • Participation in long-term, stable projects • Work in an experienced, professional engineering environment • Opportunity to contribute to advanced test automation solutions • Details regarding cooperation model and budget to be discussed during the process 📌 Please note that only selected candidates who meet the requirements outlined in the job advertisement will be contacted.
