Senior Test Engineer

O projekcie: 📍 Location: Remote (with occasional visits to Warsaw office) 💰 B2B: 115–135 PLN/h We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join a team working on complex supply chain and data platform solutions. The role involves end-to-end testing of event-driven systems and data integrations in an international environment, with strong focus on data quality, mappings, and cross-system flows. Responsibilities • Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across integration and data platform components• Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios for event-driven architectures (Kafka-based systems)• Validate data mappings, transformations, and end-to-end business processes across multiple systems• Investigate defects by tracing issues across integration flows, mapping logic, components, and data quality• Collaborate closely with developers, SMEs, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases• Own and maintain test documentation, test plans, and test cases• Drive defect triage and resolution discussions with clear and structured communication• Use tools such as JIRA and TestRail/Xray for test management and reporting• Contribute to and gradually take ownership of test automation initiatives• Continuously improve test strategy, processes, and test coverage We Offer • Opportunity to work on complex international data and integration projects• Remote work model with occasional visits to Warsaw office• Collaboration with experienced technical and business teams• Stable long-term cooperation• Private healthcare (LuxMed)• Multisport card Wymagania: - Strong understanding of testing methodologies (component, integration, system, E2E testing) - Hands-on experience testing event-driven systems (Kafka) - Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, or integration-heavy systems - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Proficiency with JIRA (defect tracking, workflows) - Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Xray or similar) - Strong analytical skills with ability to trace defects across complex systems - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have - Strong experience in supply chain domain, preferably with freight forwarding systems - Experience or willingness to learn test automation (Java or similar) - Exposure to custom test frameworks - Experience validating large-scale data transformations or mapping specifications What We’re Looking For - A curious and investigative mindset with focus on edge cases and defect detection - Ability to analyze business flows and identify technical root causes - Strong ownership and accountability for test quality and delivery - Hands-on approach – comfortable with manual testing today and automation development tomorrow - Proactive attitude, challenge-driven mindset, and focus on continuous improvement
