Opis stanowiska
O projekcie: We’re looking for a technical QA Engineer to join the product development team of a large-scale Digital Experience Platform (DXP) used by global enterprises and public organizations. The product is complex, highly technical, and used by millions of end-users, which means quality and engineering practices matter deeply. While manual testing is a significant part of the work, the role requires a technical mindset — understanding how the system behaves, investigating issues, reading logs, and using automation tools to support quality. Wymagania: Technical Skills - Strong experience in test automation using frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright (Selenium as a plus). - English: B2 or higher, both spoken and written - Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Java or other languages is a strong advantage. - Experience working in Unix/Linux or macOS environments. - Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments. - Solid understanding of API testing, cross-browser testing, security testing, and performance testing. - Practical experience with debugging tools, browser developer tools, and log analysis. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the delivery process. - Ability to investigate root causes, not just symptoms — comfortable diving into logs and technical details. - Good understanding of modern engineering workflows (Git, code review, branching strategies, versioning). Soft Skills - Strong engineering mindset: ability to break down problems, reason about system behavior, and propose technical solutions. - Experience working alongside developers in cross-functional product teams. - Ability to form and articulate opinions about tooling and testing approaches; understanding why certain practices are used. - Comfortable giving and receiving feedback; strong communication skills. - Proactive, curious, and passionate about technology and QA craft. Nice to Have - Experience contributing to public APIs or developer-facing products. - Background in companies with a strong technical / engineering culture. - Experience in product companies or software vendors (not only outsourcing/consulting). - Knowledge of Selenium, Java, or performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). - Ability to join occasional workshops in Paris or Lyon (rare trips, optional but welcome). - Previous software development experience is considered a plus. Codzienne zadania: - Test new product features — functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing. - Validate user stories and acceptance criteria together with developers and product owners. - Investigate issues deeply: analyze logs, debug problems, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights (not just bug reports). - Collaborate daily with developers — QA is integrated directly into the dev team. - Maintain and update test cases in TestRail. - Support and expand automated tests using Cypress/Playwright (mainly for regression and critical flows). - Work in a modern engineering environment: Docker, Linux/MacOS, microservices, CI/CD pipelines. - Participate in release validation and ensure stability across environments. - Contribute to QA process improvements and help push the team toward better engineering practices.
