Test Automation Engineer

Introduction & Summary:We’re looking for Test Automation Testers to enhance their testing teams. This role focuses on advancing from traditional testing methods to automated processes in a dynamic development environment. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in both functional and non-functional testing, demonstrating a commitment to quality assurance within agile frameworks.Main Responsibilities:You will join one of the teams on the 'S-KIPilot' project, collaborating with business analysts, product owners, and developers. • Participate in test planning and preparation, analyzing requirements documents and creating test strategies. • Execute tests, both manually and through automated scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage. • Document and track bugs, maintaining detailed records of severity and reproduction. • Conduct non-functional testing to verify performance, security, and usability aspects. • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing efficiencies. • Produce test reports catering to stakeholders, summarizing software quality status. Key Requirements: • Proven experience in test automation methodologies. • Strong understanding of QA processes and tools. • Experience with API testing and data synchronization. • Ability to conduct both functional and non-functional testing. • Proficiency in manual and automated testing frameworks. Nice to Have: • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development models. • Experience in performance, security, and usability testing. • Knowledge of bug tracking systems. Other Details:This position is part of a project that aims to transition towards a more automated testing approach, operating primarily in a remote capacity.
