Test Automation Engineer (Java)

Location: 100% remote work  Salary: 120 - 130 PLN net/h (B2B via Experis) Responsibilities:  • Work as part of an Agile team to deliver migration of a legacy application to a new event based and service oriented architecture in collaboration with Solution Architect, Product Owner, Technical Lead, application architects and other stakeholders • Deliver a coherent end to end testing solution meeting both functional and non functional requirements • Establish estimation principles for phases of the migration program • Write the Test Strategy and propose the most optimal Test Approach • Present the testing approach to key stakeholders and propose alternative approaches when required • Peer review test scenarios and test cases • Execute manual and automated test scenarios and test cases • Manage defects effectively and challenge other teams when required • Perform detailed analysis to support defect investigation and resolution • Review team members’ deliverables to ensure completeness, suitability and accuracy of test specifications • Identify and escalate risks and issues and propose mitigation actions considering business criticality • Facilitate discussions to extract information and define test approach and risk mitigation • Contribute to reporting and overall quality assurance activities Requirements: • Experience with Cucumber or Gherkin • Experience with Selenium • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract and analyse information from documentation, systems, clients and colleagues • Ability to derive manual and automated test scenarios and test cases with full traceability • Experience in test automation using Java, UFT and ADS • Strong analytical and system design skills in distributed multi platform solutions • Hands on Object Oriented Design and Java programming skills • Experience implementing event hub technologies including Kafka and Kafka Streams • Database design experience with Oracle and strong skills in Java and SQL queries • Very strong experience working in an Agile environment • Practical knowledge of BDD and TDD • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines using ADS • Understanding and practical experience of risk based testing • ISEB or ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing Offer: • Multisport card • Private healthcare • Access to an e learning platform • Group life insurance
