Opis stanowiska

For one of our clients, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will join a product-oriented team and take ownership of end-to-end and API test automation. 📌Working Mode: Warsaw Office once per 2 weeks. Your daily responsibilities • Designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end test automation using Playwright + TypeScript • Creating and maintaining API tests (REST / GraphQL), including contract validation, responses, and error scenarios • Designing and maintaining test cases aligned with business and technical requirements • Analyzing logs, network traffic, service responses, and data to diagnose defects • Participating in code reviews of automated tests and collaborating with developers on edge-case scenarios • Working closely with the QA Chapter Lead on test strategy, Master Test Plan (MTP), and quality metrics • Maintaining and monitoring automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab) • Reporting defects with clear documentation (reproduction steps, logs, recordings) • Collaborating with the team during requirements analysis, refinements, and sprint planning • Supporting root cause analysis (RCA) and verifying implemented fixes Requirements • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automated and manual testing • Very good knowledge of TypeScript (or JavaScript with readiness to migrate) • Hands-on experience with Playwright, including:• E2E test creation • Mocking, fixtures, selectors • Test runner and trace viewer • Experience in API testing (REST / GraphQL) using tools such as: • Postman, REST Client, SuperTest, Playwright API testing • Ability to design test cases and scenarios covering functional and non-functional requirements • Knowledge of testing methodologies, risk-based testing, and criticality analysis • Experience working with Git repositories and creating clear, well-structured pull requests • Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps) • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams What we offer • Participation in a stable, long-term project • Work in a collaborative, product-driven engineering environment • Real influence on test quality, automation standards, and testing strategy • Hybrid working model (Warsaw-based team) 📌Please note that we will contact only selected candidates who meet the requirements specified in the job advertisement.
