Test Automation Engineer (Senior)

Automated Functional Tester (Air Traffic Management) Our client is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centers with safety-critical tasks. They specialize in developing and distributing 'Control Centre Solutions' for the Air Traffic Management and Public Safety & Transport sectors.  As a Software Developer, you will join a dedicated team of professionals to actively contribute to the development of the next-generation platform for safety-critical domains.    This platform is designed to address the highest quality needs in air traffic management, providing reliability, real-time performance, and security as critical success factors. The digital platform facilitates seamless integration of voice and data applications, breaks down operational silos, and prioritizes cyber security throughout the solution lifecycle.   By streamlining control center tasks and enabling integrated controller operations on a single screen, the platform empowers organizations to enhance service levels without increasing headcount.  Position: Automated Functional Tester Industry: Air Traffic ManagementNumber of Open Vacancies: 1 Type of Contract: B2B / Employment contract Project methodology: SCRUM (SAFe)  Preferred Scale of Work: on average 8 hours/day Start Date: ASAP, remote (the candidate must be located in Poland), long-term cooperation Product: • Microservices Application (on Java) Your Tasks: • Plan and develop comprehensive test plans/cases and test specifications based on product requirements • Actively participate in the daily work of the scrum team • Execute test procedures and methods outlined in agreed test plans • Test customer-specific "use case" scenarios • Assess new software products before release • Ensure device interoperability across different product versions and hardware • Report data for engineering and customer review • Create and maintain test environments and test data • Uphold a high level of quality assurance throughout the software development and testing process, ensuring all requirements are tested and results documented • Contribute to the overall testing strategy, both at the system and support team levels What we expect from you • Proven experience (min. 7 years) in automated-functional-end-to-end testing using Java/JBehave • Experience with using continuous integration • Expertise in planning and developing test cases based on product requirements. • Strong collaborative skills, able to actively contribute to the daily work of the scrum team. • Excellent understanding of device interoperability and data reporting. • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high levels of quality assurance throughout the software development process. • Good knowledge of various testing types, test case creation. • Basic knowledge operating systems (Linux) and networks • Ability to translate technical content into comprehensible documents (English) • Critical and challeging the status quo approach • Experience with microservice architecture  • Excellent English knowledge, both written and verbally • A relevant certification (like ISTQB)  and familiarity with safety-critical environments and adherence to industry standards would be a plus What we can offer: • flexible working hours • medical insurance • international clients • remote work • annual bonuses • life insurance • non-corporate work atmosphere • integration events • additional days off • training and development budget We look forward to receiving your application!
