Test Automation Lead

Nasze wymagania: Demonstrated experience in backend automation testing, including APIs, microservices, and databases. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, ideally with experience managing remote or distributed teams. Hands-on expertise with automation tools and frameworks such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, REST Assured, and Postman. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English at a very good level. O projekcie: We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead/Test Manager to oversee the design and implementation of testing strategies across multiple test teams and programmes. The person in this role will lead and develop a group of test contractors, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices to ensure the highest quality standards. Zakres obowiązków: Design and implement comprehensive test approaches for a group of test teams or programmes of work. Recruit, lead, mentor, coach, and manage test contractors embedded within multidisciplinary teams. Collaborate with the BBC Test Team Lead to share quality best practices and standards, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and priorities in Discoverability areas. Work closely with other discipline leads to establish quality best practices and identify opportunities for process improvements. Provide regular updates to the BBC Test Manager regarding the performance and challenges of remote contractors, including status reports. Offer test expertise and support to stakeholders at all levels to effectively communicate strategy, product fit, and effectiveness. Advocate for and implement agile and lean development and testing principles, encouraging continuous improvement and efficiency in testing processes and practices. Empower test contractors to actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure compliance with quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering innovation. Monitor and report on test progress, quality metrics, and team performance.
