Test Engineer

O projekcie: We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team responsible for ensuring the quality of key business applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in software testing, strong SQL skills, and practical knowledge of working with relational databases. The role focuses on functional testing, data validation, and backend process analysis. What We Offer - Work in an experienced QA team with real impact on product quality.- Opportunities to grow toward test automation or specialization in database testing.- Flexible working hours.- Access to training platforms and mentoring Wymagania: - 3+ years of experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer.- Strong SQL knowledge, including ability to write complex queries (JOINs, subqueries, GROUP BY).- Experience testing backend systems or data-driven applications.- Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL).- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements.- Experience working with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.- Strong test documentation skills.- Good understanding of testing techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, etc.).- Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have - Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Postman, Python, Java, Selenium).- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Codzienne zadania: - Plan, design, and execute manual tests (functional, integration, regression). - Perform data-focused testing, including validation of data flows, transformations, and backend processing. - Write and execute SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, verify test results, and support testing activities. - Experience testing APIs (REST, SOAP). - Analyze application logs and database data to identify potential defects and root causes. - Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, test scenarios, test reports). - Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently. - Report and track defects throughout their lifecycle (using Jira or similar tools). - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall product quality. - Participation in scrum ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily, etc.)
