Summary: The main function of the BIS - Accounts Lead is to oversee the accounts functional stream, ensuring that customer journeys and requirements are accurately defined and documented to improve service efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities: • Define end-to-end customer and servicing journeys for in-scope account products. • Document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for existing approved scopes such as onboarding, maintenance, servicing, controls, and exception handling. • Lead workshops with various teams (business, operations, compliance, fraud, AML, technology) to validate requirements. • Identify touchpoints with dependent systems such as core banking, channels, CRM, fraud, AML, reporting, and downstream systems. • Clarify business rules, data needs, approval points, and operational handoffs. • Support handover sessions to vendors, explaining process flows, requirements, pain points, and expected outcomes. • Collaborate with support analysts to maintain traceability of requirements, actions, and clarifications. • Aid in UAT preparation by ensuring requirements are testable and clearly documented. Must Haves: • Strong retail/corporate accounts domain knowledge. • Hands-on experience writing BRDs. • Experience leading requirements workshops. • Understanding of account lifecycle and servicing flows. Nice to Have: • Familiarity with compliance regulations relevant to account handling. • Experience with tools for documenting requirements (e.g., Jira, Confluence). • Knowledge of customer relationship management technologies.
