Unleash cybersecurity excellence — elevate cloud protection to new heights! Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week). As a Cloud Security Assessment Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, focused on safeguarding cloud platforms and ensuring compliance with top security standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the security and integrity of cloud services, supporting HSBC’s mission to maintain a resilient and innovative cybersecurity environment. Your main responsibilities: • Executing technical Cloud Security Assessment reviews tracked through Service Now to ensure compliance with security controls. • Providing Cloud Security consultancy support to clients and facilitating seamless transition of services into production. • Driving continuous process improvements with a focus on automation and data-driven enhancements in collaboration with the team. • Applying relevant Cloud security controls and best practices across multiple cloud platforms. • Meeting performance targets established by the Cloud Security Assessment Lead. • Contributing to HSBC’s cybersecurity strategy by safeguarding technology infrastructure from internal and external threats. • Engaging effectively with global teams, functions, and regions to promote security initiatives. • Staying informed on industry trends and advocating for best practices and change management within the organization. You're ideal for this role if you have: • 4+ years of experience in cloud security or related roles. • Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services, plus at least one additional cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure or Alibaba Cloud. • Understanding of risk management and control frameworks. • Strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships with technical and business teams. • Self-motivation, proactivity, high integrity, and a strong work ethic. • Technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Persuasive communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information effectively. • Excellent written and verbal English language skills, with fluent command of Polish. It is a strong plus if you have: • Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments or reviews. • Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, CI/CD frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible), and automation tools. • Familiarity with software development languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL, and data formats like XML, JSON, CSV. • Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISM, Cloud Security Certifications). Language Required for the role: • Fluent English and good command of Polish.
