As a Cybersecurity Data Leakage Prevention Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to safeguarding information assets and maintaining trust through cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies. Your main responsibilities: • Lead the implementation and management of DLP policies across endpoints and Data in Motion/Data in Use security solutions. • Administer and configure DLP agents on-premises and in cloud environments, managing exceptions and policy adjustments. • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy automation scripts and test plans ensuring robust security controls. • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents related to data leakage, escalating issues as necessary. • Document and communicate technical solutions, maintaining clear records using tools like Jira and Confluence. • Ensure compliance with global data security policies and support regulatory audits and reporting processes. • Engage with vendors and internal teams to optimize security tools and processes within a regulated environment. You're ideal for this role if you have: • Over 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Security. • Proficiency with at least two DLP products such as Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, or Trellix. • Strong experience configuring and managing DLP policies, including exceptions management. • Demonstrable skills in system administration, agent management, and cloud/on-premise environments. • Knowledge of Data in Motion and Data in Use security principles. • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience. It is a strong plus if you have: • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or vendor-specific security certifications. • Experience with test automation, scripting, and security incident response. Language required for the role: • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and confidently.
