Your main responsibilities: • Lead the engineering and design of advanced IDPS solutions, ensuring alignment with security policies and industry best practices. • Provide subject matter expertise on network security threats, risks, and mitigation strategies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review projects, advise on security controls, and drive improvements across network security architecture. • Analyze cybersecurity data, system logs, and network traffic to identify vulnerabilities and support decision-making. • Share knowledge, coach team members, and promote best practices within the cybersecurity community. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including global Cybersecurity teams and business units. • Support the implementation of corrective and preventive security measures, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. • Take ownership of complex security initiatives, leading them to successful completion with minimal supervision. You're ideal for this role if you have: • At least 6 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, with a focus on IDPS and intrusion prevention. • Expertise in network design, firewalls, load balancers, DDoS mitigation, and related security technologies. • Strong understanding of network security threats, risk management, and mitigation techniques. • Proven ability to analyze complex cybersecurity data and develop strategic insights. • Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and management teams. • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl. • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CCNA/CCIE are a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity (or equivalent experience). It is a strong plus if you have: • Experience with cloud security concepts and tools. • Knowledge of security operations activities, incident response, and SIEM tools. • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps delivery methodologies. Language Required for the role: • Fluency in English, with strong command in both written and verbal communication.
